Alison Ven is a Financial Analyst at the San Francisco office of Cogent Valuation. Prior to joining Cogent in 2013, Ms. Ven provided tax compliance and due diligence research for investment partnerships as well as tax and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals. At Cogent, Ms. Ven focuses on the valuation of companies, performing financial analysis and business due diligence to help guide investment decisions.

Ms. Ven attended the University of California, Berkeley where she received concurrent degrees, a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, and a B.A. in Economics.
