Erin Spaulding is an Associate with Cogent Valuation in the Los Angeles Office. Before joining the firm, Ms. Spaulding’s work experience included two years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in its Transaction Services group as a Senior Associate and one year with American Appraisal Associates as an Associate focusing on fair value analyses. Prior to this, she worked for Gursey, Schneider & Co., LLP, a mid-sized CPA practice focused on fair market value analyses.

She has been involved in valuations for purposes of purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment testing and share-based payment reporting, as well as estate and tax planning, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) transactions, marital dissolution, eminent domain actions and litigation support. She has also been on audit teams engaged to review valuations for the above purposes. She has worked with companies in a range of industries, including technology, telecommunications, media and entertainment, professional services, consumer products and manufacturing.

Ms. Spaulding holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied International Finance from the American University of Paris, France with a concentration in Corporate Finance.
