Phillip Zhou is a Vice President in the San Francisco office of Cogent Valuation. Mr. Zhou’s work experience includes the valuation of companies in diverse industries, including life sciences, high technology, miscellaneous manufacturing, energy, financial services, consumer products and LLC’s and LP’s holding diverse assets for the purpose of investment management. The purposes for such engagements include options pricing, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, divestitures, pre-IPO valuation, equity allocation, estate planning and litigation support.

Mr. Zhou graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with concurrent degrees, a B.S. from the Walter A. Haas School of Business in Business Administration, and a B.A. degree in Economics. Mr. Zhou has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
